Insurance Induction

This seminar consists of four (4) sessions from 9:00 AM to approx. 12:15 PM each day. It has been designed not only for those persons who have recently entered the insurance industry but also for those who have two or more years experience in related industries such as accountants, bankers, lawyers, human resource managers and information systems personnel. Seminar topics to be cover: * The Development of the Bermuda Market * Basics of Insurance: Insurable Risks, Types of Hazards, Perils, Subrogation, Utmost Good Faith * Line of Business * Underwriting, Broking and Claims * Life Insurance & Life Insurance Products * Captives * Reinsurance * The Insurance Marketplace & Bermuda's Role in Global Insurance ~ PASTRIES/COFFEE/TEA will be provided ~ TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 12:15p.m. ~ COURSE FEE: BII Members $500.00, Non-Member $575.00 ~ This course has been pre-approved for 10.5 hours of CLE credits by the Bermuda Bar Association and may also qualify towards CPD credits for other qualifications. A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend all the sessions.
