Examination WINDOW:

17TH JANUARY - 4TH FEBRUARY, 2011

Please note that exams can only be written in Bermuda within the exam window dates detailed below.  You may find reference to longer windows on other websites but these are for prometric testing centres, which the BII is not.

Registration:                         22nd November - 26th November, 2010

Late Registration (+ $60):    29th November - 3rd December, 2010

Examination registration is done directly through the BII between 8:30a.m. and 3:30p.m. during the registration period above. 

Effective for the 2011 exam windows, exam fees may increase moderately to reflect the increases that are passed on to ourselves. The fees for the 2010 exams are given below as an indication of cost:.

Whilst examination windows gives students some flexibility in choosing the date and time of the examination, bear in mind that we have a limited number of computers available for each session. Early registrations have a wider choice of dates.

Do not register for examinations unless you are sure that you will be prepared at that time.

Cancellations incur penalties. The IIA/CPCU charge $80 to transfer to another exam window and the BII also charges an additional $80 administration fee to transfer candidates to another exam window. 

If you cannot take the exam in the testing window for which you originally registered:

1. Call the BII Tel: 441-295-1596 and request the transfer(s).  Our fee for the transfer process is $80.00 per exam.  This should be done three (3) full working days prior to the date of your exam.

2. Call the Insurance Institute of America Tel: 610-644-2100 to complete the exam transfer.  Their fee is also $80.00 per exam. This should be done three (3) full working days prior to the date of your exam.

3. Call the BII on the first day of the applicable exam registration window to choose your exam slot.   Visit our website www.bii.bm for the dates of the exam registration windows.
