The Reinsurance Association of America, in
conjunction with the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR),
the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), and the Bermuda Insurance Institute (BII),
brings its popular reinsurance underwriting forum to Bermuda for the first
time. Plan to attend Bermuda ReUnderwriting, March
23-24, 2010 at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel.
Professionals involved in all aspects of reinsurance underwriting should
plan to attend the two-day program, which explores the challenging insurance
and reinsurance marketplace and how prevailing market conditions influence
and drive underwriting decisions. Topics to be discussed include: Market
Dynamics of Reinsurance; Analyzing a Reinsurance Program from an
Underwriter's Perspective; What Underwriters Should Know about Financial
Issues; Understanding Pricing Methodologies; Monitoring the Ceding Company;
The Current Market; and Hot Topics for Underwriters. The
program also features an underwriting workshop on “Lagging Net Results (LNR)
Insurance Company”. Visit
www.reinsurance.org
(click on Education, ReUnderwriting) to review the agenda and to register. For questions about the program, contact Ann-Marie Mwombela at
